How Suna Came to Life
For 4 months, inside of the most respected luxury retailer in Canada - Holt Renfrew, we brought Suna out of the bag and into the hands of real people.
This wasn’t about sales - it was about taste, craft, conversation, and learning.
We saw firsthand what people loved about our blends (cold foam series, matcha latte rituals), and how the community shaped its own experience around the brand.

The Suna Experience Bar was designed to do one thing: let people taste the difference.
In a world of functional powders and promises, we wanted our blends to be experienced the way they were meant to be - crafted, poured, and shared in real time.
Every cup served became a conversation.
Every reaction shaped how we think about flavor, texture, and ritual.
This wasn’t a café experiment.
It was a confirmation - that when nutrition is crafted with care, people don’t just consume it. They slow down and savour it.
Designed to Go Beyond the Cup
Suna was never created to live in just one form.
During the café experience, our blends moved beyond the cup and into the hands of Holt Renfrew’s culinary team, where they were reimagined across a menu of protein-forward pastries.
From baked goods to plated desserts, Suna proved to be more than a drink.
It became an ingredient - one that could hold flavor, texture, and balance in entirely new formats.
When a product can move this fluidly between ritual and recipe, it speaks to the care behind how it’s made.
The Suna Café was never meant to be permanent.
What it created is.
The ideas shaped there - around taste, craft, and intentional nourishment, now live in every blend we make and every experience we design. Whether enjoyed at home, shared in new spaces, or reimagined in ways we haven’t yet explored, Suna continues forward with the same intention it began with.
